Route and journey time from BUD to Prešov

The route from Budapest Airport to Prešov runs along the Hungarian M3 motorway, transitions to the M30 and, after crossing the border, continues on the Slovak R4 via Košice all the way to Prešov. The total distance is roughly 360 km and the standard journey time is around 2 hours 55 minutes, including a short break.

When booking a return trip after landing, we recommend choosing a departure at least 2 hours after touchdown — that leaves time for passport control, luggage collection and a short walk to the minibus.
